School Site Council (SSC)
School Site Council (SSC) is a legally required decision-making body for any school receiving federal funds. The SSC is comprised of elected parents, community members, and staff. At the secondary level, students are included in the SSC. The SSC has an ongoing responsibility to develop, implement, monitor and evaluate the site plan. The SSC also oversees all the categorical funds such as Title I, Second Language, and GATE.
